Gift Guide for the Feminine Gal

A holiday gift guide for the soul searching, growth seeking, passionate woman who is curious about growing into more and isn’t afraid of what will come next when she trusts herself. Perfect for young woman in their twenties but also for older woman who are looking for a meaningful change in their life. Truly many of the spiritual and personal growth books I mentioned in this holiday gift guide I highly recommend for any woman of any age.

“Within every woman there is a wild and natural creature, a powerful force,

filled with good instincts, passionate creativity and ageless knowing…” - Unknown

Embracing your feminine side does not necessarily mean you are a feminist. I’m referring more to creating a balance of feminine and masculine energy.

The Universe Has Your Back: Transform Fear to Faith by Gabrielle Bernstein - I purchased this book last October as a birthday gift to myself and highly recommend it if you are looking to face your fears. I loved the guided meditations and the activities to reflect on. It is encouraging and helps you reconnect to your true potential.

Journal from Target - With many of these books, it would be beneficial to have a journal to go with it. I used to journal like a diary and I found it overwhelming and more like a burden. Now I use journals to reflect, write affirmations and daily gratitude, and to work through healing areas of my life. Using a journal in this way can be beneficial especially to those on a health journey with an autoimmune conditions. Why this journal? It is probably silly but I love the little date timeline on the top and think it is fun to circle the date rather than a boring I’ll just write the good ole date at the top. Both journals from Design Works and Cambridge have this.

Boho Unlined Plunge Bra from Aerie - Although I’m a huge fan of Aerie I love, love this bra I recently purchased. It is everything amazing to embrace your feminine side a little more and so comfortable too. But you have to hurry because it’s now on clearance.

Girl Wash Your Face: Stop Believing the Lies About Who You Are So You Can Become Who You Were Meant to Be by Rachel Hollis - A book that is direct, much needed, and one that every woman can relate to at least one chapter. Perfect for female business owners, new mothers, and women looking to start doing instead of just dreaming.

No. 3 Balancing or No. 1 Brightening Facial Oils from Beautycounter - Luxurious skincare without the harsh chemicals. The No. 3 balancing oil will help rebalance chronic oily or acne prone skin with wild chamomile to calm and soothe your skin. The No. 1 brightening oil helps to reduce the appearance of acne scars and gives you a brighter complexion with powerful vitamin C.

A Tribe Called Bliss by Lori Harder - Break through superficial friendships, create real connections, reach your highest potential Yes, it really is all of that. Perfect gift if you want to achieve deeper friendships and is a great choice for a book club. I will warn you get ready to get vulnerable but it will be good. Grab a copy for all of your friends, sisters, daughters, and females in your life. (You can read it on your own too.)

Writing & Journaling Supplies - My go to favorites are Sharpie fine point pens because they don’t bleed through the paper and Prismacolor premier coloring pencils for journaling and creating.

Get the Look: Romantic Set from Beautycounter - Feminine eye makeup and a radiant complexion. I truly love all of the colors in the romantic eyeshadow palette and the lip intense color 9 to 5. They are soft, highly pigmented and give an amazing look especially for brunettes. Don’t be afraid of the moondust either! It looks a little intimating but you can use your finger to lightly tap some over your eyeshadow. It’s hard to explain but looks really pretty on.

The Moon Deck - An oracle card set that will connect you deeper to your intuition and help you on your healing journey. The deck comes with a book with ideas for creating self care rituals and prompts that you can journal about. These might be a little woo-woo for some but you are not using the cards in a “worshipping” way like some people might think or be afraid of. You can use them as a little encouragement and inspiration to start your day. I personally love the imagery and the focus on the moon which also relates to your menstrual cycle.

Membership Subscription to The Strong Soul Series - Yes a shameless plug but because it is everything I have dreamed of. The Strong Soul Series is focused around educating, inspiring and supporting woman during any season of their life to find and nourish their strength from within. You can give the gift of a one month subscription or three or six months subscription. The recipient and members of our community receive a new course every month focused around holistic nutrition, functional movement and women’s health. Every month includes video lessons, interactive workbook, and resources. December’s course is focused on supporting your immune system during travel and the hectic (and sometimes stressful) holiday season. In 2019, we have some exciting courses coming your way. You can learn more about the business in our recent podcast episode with Project Nourish.

And lastly because they are just so beautiful!

Crescent Moon Stud Earrings with Crystal Quartz by Saressa Designs - I stumbled upon these little beauties when I was doing some Christmas shopping and fell in love. They are perfect the girl who loves the moon, crystals, and allowing herself to be a little bit wild and a little bit feminine. They are gorgeous!
